At football games it’s a common sight to see streakers and supporters pitch invasions, but now pets want to join in. A cat managed to get onto the pitch this evening during the Liverpool and Tottenham Premier League game at Anfield.
The white and brown feline made its debut in the 11th minute of the match, stopping play for around a minute until it was eventually rounded up by Anfield Stewards.
The cat is now famous on the Twitter website after some tech savvy supporters set up the account @AnfieldCat, and it now has over 17,000 followers.
The game ended in a 0-0 draw after both sides cancelled each other out.
